Hi Sim
first, excuses for my crap english.I think is a great idea to re-paint the EII+. Just be sure that BEFORE applying the color-whatever it is-, the plastic need preparing with something -I think it is a special spray, or a special solution- and after that you can paint the e-mu, and the color will resist for a long time.Don't forget to protect very good the parts around the pitch bands, and the big one with the functions. Good luck. I hope that you can put some pictures with it after that.

I've got an EII+ that's fully functional, but is now starting to look a bit tired and bruised. The
backlight's gone and i've got a replacement for that to do, but i'm looking to do a good paint
job on the outer casing. Has anyone done this before, and if so, have they tried to emulate
(sorry for the pun) the original paint colour, or have they done something radically different.
I'm also looking to sort out the push buttons too, as they're slightly sticky at times. Has
anyone also done some work on theses.
I've taken the EII out on a couple of gigs, and i'd really like this baby to have a nice shiny new
look.
Thanks
Simon
