Re: [emulatorII-list] Emulatior Sample History

2008-05-18 by Sean Wolcott

Hello....

I am not only a proud Emu 2 owner, but also and Optigan owner too.

The Blue Monday / Kraftwerk sound is indeed sampled from a Vako
Orchestron's Choir disc.
I have a disc for my Optigan, a very rare one called Vox Humana... its
the same sound as the Orchestron Choir disc.

Indeed, the sound quality on the Optigan/Orchestron is crap, but thats
what makes it cool. But of course, this lo-fi charm was sub par when
the Emu libraries were being created.
