EII DPX --> EII SD native is indeed very easy to program.
You just need the decoding algorithm for the sound part, and some EII 
addressing scheme knowledge :-)

Since I have those specs here, maybe if I find some time in between 
my other activities, I'll make this little program for you. It will 
only take a few hours to program, and I can add it to the DPXTOOLS 
package (not to EMXP, that will take more than a few hours :-)

I just have to find a timeslot of a few hours... Mmmm...
