Thanks About the DPX->EII. That's a tricky one... DPX doesn't have its own soundbankformat. It simply takes the original format (S900, P2000/2, EII or Mirage) and changes it a little bit before writing it to it's "own format". So to be able to convert any DPX disk to EII, I need the specs of all supported DPX samplerformats. The S900 and EII I have, but I don't have the Mirage and P2000/2 specs (yet ? :-). Anyway, it's easy to recognize on any DPX disk what the original format was, so it's definitely quite easy to make a DPX->EII tool for both EII and S950 'DPX' disks. By the way: the next version of OmniFlop will also support DPX correctly (now it contains a major bug). This means that one of the next versions of EMXP will also support DPX directly, incl. writing/readin the disks. EMXP uses OmniFlop as its default floppy access driver, as opposed to DPXTOOLS which relies on Simon Owen's great FDRAWCMD driver. Maybe I will then include the DPX-> translation in my EMXP translation engine. The advantage of putting it in EMXP instead of using separate tools like DPXTOOLS is that all EMXP supported samplerformats would immediately become candidate for conversion to/from DPX. The bad news is that I really don't have enough time anymore to work on these things, the next months my agenda is completely filled with other things, both personal and job related. So my EMXP/DPX project is put on hold (again) for a few months. That's why I had to speed up the release of v205 and why I hope this v205 is quite stable :-) ///E-Synthesist --- In emulatorII-list@yahoogroups.com, "wintermute0815" <wintermute303@...> wrote: > > Thank you so much for the work you're doing! > And thanks for the DPX1 reading tool!!! > > Btw. is there anything planned to convert DPX1 back to EII? > > Thanks again! > > Cheers >
