i just bought it off of ebay so haven't even received it yet.  I'll take it to my synth repair shop to c if we can salvage the drives.
   
  I appreciate the reference to the archives but I never seem to have luck searching for archived answers and was hoping if someone just happened to know the answer to my question (where to get original emulator II discs) it would save me some time and I would be very grateful. Thanks.

See if you can get your original drives running by cleaning/reseating
the cables/connectors (power and data) and also blowing out dust with
compressed air. If no-go, go with your original plan of contacting
Richard at Route66. Richard is a moderator of this group and its nice
when we can support our own.
