Hi 
I'm Thomas From France, It's my first message on the list.
I've got an Emlator I serial n°103 ( one week )and an emulator II+ with a 3.5" floppy from 66 ( one year ).
The E II is in good condition and work ( I have a lot of sound )


My problem is my emulator I, I haven't the Os boot and no sounds.
I clear it from the psu to the keyboard but when I turn On, All the light on the E I bright.
Is it normal or He have a problem ?
Can Anyboby send me a copy of the Os system ?
I go to post some picture of my two monster on the list.

Still trying to get this E1 to boot.  I added a few

pics of the jumpers on the two drives that I am trying

to get to work. Both are 400L models, not sure if

there is a SA-400L?  think the SA just stands for

Shugart Associates and isn't a different model. The

jumper block on your drive is all the way to the end

of the circuit board on mine its one IC in. At this

point there are a few things that might be bad as

well. The Boot PROM might be bad, the Z-80 SIO/2 might

be bad, and it might just be a set of bad floppies. 



Had a couple of questions if you don't mind?   If you

put an unformatted floppy in the drive, how does the

E1 react? Is the red LED on the drive supposed to come

on? It never does on mine, all you hear is the disk

spinning.  



All the LEDs on the E1 stay lit except for the

Sample/overload  and sometimes the swap turns off. Is

that an indicator of anything?
