Hi guys. I am pretty new to all this (not to computers and samplers, but to an Emulator II+ running on a Macintosh Classic that is J) and I have a question (read: problem). I got a CD-ROM containing some EII banks and I have two Mac computers for this purpose. 1. An old Macintosh Classic that I intend to use to transfer and edit sounds to and from my Emulator II+ - running MacOS 7.0.1. and Sound Designer for EII. It works like a charm. I have transferred a bank from EII to Mac. 2. An old PowerPC running 7.5.3 that I intend to use to copy banks from the CD-ROM drive to floppies as the Classic do NOT have a CD-ROM drive. Issue: My problem is that I can't get the CD-ROM containing the EII banks to show up when I put it in the CD-ROM drive. A CD icon never shows up on my desktop, but inserting the CD-ROM into my PC or my third Mac (iMac running OSX) shows all the banks. If I insert my MacOS 7.5.3 system CD-ROM it shows up on the desktop on my PPC, and will even boot from it - so it seems there's no problem with the CD-ROM drive. So basically I have HUGE problems getting my EII banks from CD-ROM to floppy to Classic to Emulator II. Any ideas would be WILDLY appreciated.
