If you don't have a Mac/RS422, the only way to get soundbanks into the EII is by floppy disk. And until now, no one succeeded in reading or writing EII disks with a PC. (see also message http://launch.groups.yahoo.com/group/emulatorII- list/message/1242) By the way, if I would have a 3.5 drive in my EII, I would probably be investigating if it's really impossible. But I don't... my 5.25 drives are in perfect condition and Route66 didn't answer my questions for their drive a year ago. And my PCs carrying a 5.25 drive are too old to do any software development experiments on (I'm not going to use those old dos C- compilers anymore :-) Some people are trying to get the diskread/write work on a PC, but until now I haven't heard of any success. So really: you should buy a 20 dollar Mac Classic and a ?? dollar RS422 board for your EII (see somewhere else on this group). ///E-Synthesist --- In emulatorII-list@yahoogroups.com, "mborish_2000" <mborish_2000@...> wrote: > > I'm very interested in acquiring more factory sounds for my EII.
