I'm very interested in acquiring more factory sounds for my EII. I do not have the Mac SDII setup or the RS422 board for that matter. I have a 5.25 floppy in drive one and a 3.5 floppy from route 66 in drive two. How can I get more sounds for this thing? I would prefer to have them on 3.5 DD disks, or, if there is a way that I could buy the CD and then convert them to DD disks? If I could do it with Windows XP, that would be a grand slam. I'm very open to creative ideas. -Mike --- In emulatorII-list@yahoogroups.com, "esynthesist" <esynthesist@...> wrote: > > Hi all > > I think I succeeded in reverse engineering the DPX disk layout for > Emulator II soundbanks. > > In the files section of > http://launch.groups.yahoo.com/group/oberheim_dpx1/ > you can find a small Windows XP commandline tool called E2DPX. > This software reads SoundDesigner for EII files and translates them to > DPX diskimages.
