I've uploaded a ZIP package containing 2 EmuII factory banks from Emu. (GrandPiano 3 and ARP2600, two disks that happened to be on my studio table :-) They are in DPX-1 disk format. Use OmniFlop to create the disks. Instructions are included in the ZIP package. You can find them here: http://launch.groups.yahoo.com/group/emulatorII-list/files/Samples/ I hope it works... ///E-Synthesist --- In emulatorII-list@yahoogroups.com, "somethingkillingyou" <somethingkillingyou@...> wrote: > > thank you very much! > now it is all much more clear! > > I just don't understand HOW is it possible that there is no other > way to "burn" directly in the EII format... > > I hope that the guy who's trying to hack it with a PC will find a > workaround... :) > > btw that's really strange that there is no software for smtg like > this, be it in a mac or pc or amiga or even commodore or atari > form... > > some dpx-1 disk images would be really fine! > > IMHO, I think that after all this time, since the guys who did the > original libraries are NOT gaining anymore from their hard work, it > is in our RIGHT to burn our own disk bypassing third-parts vendors... > > > Fabio > > --- In emulatorII-list@yahoogroups.com, "esynthesist" > <esynthesist@> wrote: > > > > Sorry, I forgot to confirm what the other members already said: > it's > > not possible to format/create an EII floppy disk if you don't have > an > > EII.
