The E-II connects to a Mac serial (printer or modem) port, not via SCSI. Check the group "Files" section for Sound Designer docs and manuals. No need for multiple SCSI ports; SCSI allows you to chain 7 devices. If the Mac you choose doesnt have an internal CD-drive, you will want an external SCSI CD-drive. Check the Group "Links" section for sites that will get you up to speed on older Mac information. When shopping for your old Mac, a 68030 based machine or better is recommended. Check the group "Database" for working member setups.
