I did, in fact, have a faulty inverter. I had another one laying around and now and the glow is great, although it looks quite blue when connected to the stock E-mu inverter. Reads 89V AC, don't have a scope so not sure about frequency. cheers, [w] Very good! Blue is normal for EII display, polarized glass covering display, etc. Voltage is acceptable, not a hi-tech component, if display were to hum at different frequencies and display light "bursts" would be too high voltage, if light were to oscillate from almost normal viewing to somewhat dimmer, too low current. In other words if it lights, its working, dont mess with what aint broke. Cheers! Doug PS If you look at my pic in PHOTOS with new backlight, you can see one switch missing, the STOP switch, got a few from DigiKey, just haven't been motivated yet. Yeah Yeah, could have done it when I did backlight, just had too much else to do.
