Hi Heiko,
I'll try to open up my EII and identify the floppy for you guys this weekend (I hope) ;-)
I'll get back to you.
Best regards
Brian

Hi Brian,
it would be very nice, if you would have a look inside of your EII
for checking out which drive do you have. I know it`s hard and much
work what I want from you, but it would help me and maybe others
here very much. I`ve tried several drives, I`ve had - some of them
with the possibility of changing jumper-settings, but none of them
worked.
Best regards
Heiko

jumper settings for the ID 0 and 1.I collected around 10 different
3.5" floppy drives from Fujitsu and HP computers (typically 66 to
133Mhz type cpu computers) and tried each of them out. I jumpered
the drive either to 0 or 1 (don't remember), painted the front end
black and mounted the drive in the lower bay in a 3.5" to 5.25"
adapter frame.

I recall I had to find a data cable adapter too.

doesn't have to be the TEAC FD235HF-A529 as long as the floppy drive
ID can be changed. My EII is running on OS 2.6.
