Could someone post the offical PSU specs. I know it's supposed to be 
6v but what is the milliamp rating and polarity?

manual states 400mA @ 6v, 2.1mm, positive tip.

That's the requirement mentioned in the manual. I don't know what is a  
milliamp on Elektron's own universal PSU (200 SKE).
But I suggest to get at least 500mA @ 6V if you locate it somewhere such as
RadioSherk.

It is also very important that it is well stabilised. If not noise from
the power net can interfere in the audio output. This is what has happened
for some people that have posted samples here on the list.
