Elektron Musical Instruments

Does anyone have any experience using one of the Behringer 
Denoisers? My sid allways has this low frequency hum that i can eq out 
for the most part leaving the sid sounding pretty thin with little or 
no low end(i have one of the first generation ms1202's with only a 
fixed lo and high eq).  I do use a microgate which works fine and 
dandy, but 
when the gate is open i have the hum going full tilt unless i have the 
lo eq turned down below unity.  The other noise i get from the sid is 
sort of buzzy and sounds like white noise, i can usually get rid of 
this noise by fiddling with the psu plug that connects to the sid, it 
works most of the time but has a tendency to cut power and corrupt 
everything, which leads me to having to reset the memory and such(i 
have gotten into the habbit of saving individual patches as sysex, as 
i have lost quite a few before i started doing this).  I can allways 
get a software plug in(recomendations or experiences are welcome),
but hardware would be nicer.
