Elektron Musical Instruments

I\ufffdm glad you guys mentioned this (recording MD midi to cubase). I read that 
the MD uses 4 midi channels for all its CCs. So, basically how do you know 
which channel is using each part? I mean, if you tweek a knob that uses 
channel 2 and you\ufffdre recording everything in a single track, how can you 
make cubase recognise it and make it play in the right channel afterwards?
Am I makin any sense? :)
