weird monomachine behavior

weird monomachine behavior

2006-01-11 by dayjob111

has this ever happened to you?

last night i spent hours on some nits of music in the monomachine.. concentrating mostly on
this one melody and getting it all just write. the same synth is part of two separate kits w/in
the same set of patterns.. you know so when i switch patterns the one "important" melody
stays the same but all kinds of things are changing around it from pattern to pattern because
each pattern has it's own kit w/the same melodic element/synth..

so this morning i turn it on to have a listen and bask in the glow of the awesome feeling of
getting something that was in my head out in musical form just as i heard it.. when low and
behold all is well except the one melodic part.. the most important part is a completely
different sound..

wtf??? i saved it as two separate kits and both are fukt. such a bummer. and so totally
random. now i have to back track all over it and make it right if i can.

what's up w/the memory in the monomachine? why did mine come w/gremlins? i have no
roommates... my front door remained locked.. there are no haunting ghosts in my building...
is my monomachine possessed?
