Hello guys ! (and girls ?) One thing anoying me with the MD, there's no way to record a pattern on the fly with the right timing ! I mean, i do this well with a lot of drummachine (909, EMX, etc...) but with the machinedrum it's impossible to do, or you have to be very lucky. I don't know why, maybe it's a bug with the realtime quantize system but it's really anoying... What do you think about ? Ono

Using the latest OS? It should be perfect. We had a hard traced real-time recording bug in some earlier revisions. Check the included bug/feature-log for which version it was fixed. No problems here.. well, only if you're trying to record and playback the sample at the same time, while the playing sound is pitched up (but that's ofcourse very logicall). -chris daniel_elektron wrote:

so when i press down 1 or a few more buttons on the sequencer they will snap to a quantized grid? sorry i am not an elektron user (but wish to become one in the future. this was something that i had been wondering about for some time now as i have seen other midi groove boxes that dont sync to other midi loops within the box itself. please help me out here as it would be crutial to have for live use. thanks a bunch.

But tomorrow i bring back my MD to my dealer for UW transformation so they will install the last OS and i can try that. Happy to know that it would work :) Thanks Ono
