No, they are not all gone! First we sold the 25 specially priced for
friends in four days. Then we had a batch of about the same quantity
(don't remember exactly) that sold out at full price (although full
price dollar is not what it used to be counted in swedish currency :)
to the world at about the same time. Now today we got 14 more in, and
5 of these are left as we speak.

We will get more in a few weeks (I don't have the numbers), but it
takes a while to produce them as each unit is fine-tuned to each SID
chip to the best sound.

As it seem to be very appreciated it feels kind of good it happens
this way, gives more people time to react. When we're out of them
people can sign up on a waiting list and get notified when more are in
stock. Usually when our offers sell out very fast we then get a couple
of angry mails from people who thought we should have market it better
so they would have known. :) It's still a while until the press
release will appear in printed magazines (I think).

Still I must say we had a glad surprise that the SidStation was this
anticipated today. We thought we'd get a eager reception judged by all
the request mails over the year since we sold out the last chips, but
they sell actually quicker than expected (therefore the temporary lack
of units while they are built and tuned).

That's great to hear daniel. But I must say, there was no indication
that "finished" models would slowly trickle in for sale to the public.
I came and went thinking all 100 were gone and sold out last week.
Had I not been part of this group, I'd probably still be thinking the
same thing.

sonicstate.com announced the new 100 sids on their
news section about the time that elektron announced
them. :)

We thought we'd have them all more quickly ready for sale, and we also
didn't them to sell this quickly (at this price). Therefore we did't
prepare the info about it. I don't think we need that to sell them
either, the people who really want them will hopefully search out the
facts. For example, when you try to order now when there are no units
in stock will get a waiting list until they are sold out. When they
are sold out it changes to a discontinued info page.

We would of course make sure to all the info there if it wasn't for
that we are really busy with "something else". :)
