Thats's beautiful. But isn't there a point in having as few forums as possible. I, for one, don't really bother to browse around too much. And how would I select where to post stuff?

I think it makes the community stronger to hang around one main area. Or... no?

Cheers,
Mikael

Personally, I prefer the Yahoo email group. I dont like having to poke
around a forum web site. I'd rather receive emails and pick and
choose the threads I'd like to follow.

as above, but i'd take a proper email list {a la mailman}
with searchable, downloadable, zipped archives over this
yahoo dross any day.

It's possible to subscribe to each forum individually. If you don't want
to follow Buy-Sell-Trade, for example, you don't have to subscribe to
it. You can also use RSS to customize what you want to receive. It's
very flexible.

That being said, the Yahoo group is cool.

Well, the yahoo group seems to have more activity than the forums...
Really, 2 forums is too much IMHO.

Unfortunately, you put up your forum when other people had already
started working on the official one, and they had announced that before
on the list.

As I said before, try to merge them.
Or just keep things as they are, but don't expect a lot of traffic and
don't try to steal users to each other.
I don't think that people on the list want to be constantly reminded of
all the forums we have.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
