I have had better luck using MIDI-OX (windows xp) or, in particular,
Sysex Librarian (OSX), for upgrading my equipment (Machinedrum, Indigo
2, etc.)

They're both pretty self-explanatory. In the case of Sysex Librarian,
you select the Midi port your device is connected to, import the file
to the application library, and then simply "play" it. But BEFORE you
do that, you have to enter into the global settings of your MD and
then select "sysex recieve" or something like that.

I tried updating my Indigo 2 using Logic 7 Pro, and it worked a little
before crapping out.

Hope this helps,
Charles

if you navigate to the group's "files" section and then choose
Machinedrum->other, there is a FAQ there that answers this.
if you still have problems after that, please post them.
