Good to hear it, thanks to all who responded -- this group is a great resource for window shoppers like myself ;) I can see how it might be difficult to do parameter locks while playing through several patterns, but I was more concerned about general pattern structure / note placement . . . I'm currently using a TR 707 and am sorta bored w/ the limited sound set and am looking for something that'll hold my interest for an extended period. I've also thrown around the idea of getting a Monomachine instead, to pair up w/ the 707, but then I think I'd still bore w/ untweakable drums. Suggestions, comments from other users on the MD vs. MnM purchase decision? Thanks all, ao. > > yeah you can do that, you have to be quick with parameter locks to > make the change before the pattern ends. otherwise they wont lock > correctly. its easy to drop the tempo and make changes. whats your > current machine?
