I upgraded yesterday, and hade severe problems. At some random point whn 
upgrading I got the error message on the MD. Then I changed midi cable and 
put the MD in my lap, upgrade worked instantly! Quite weird. I had tried 
6-7 times to upgrade before that.

Motu 828 MKII, Windows XP, Sonar.
