Keep us posted. I have very similar issues that I just blew off as o.s. bugs or quirks with the device. But I've had issues with the mono crashing a computer (only connection was midi out) and the mono freezing almost sparking! when connected in a standard midi loop to my macbeth. As soon as I plugged in the midi out (no sequences or notes playing) the macbeth started squealing and the whole studio freaked for a minute. I had to reboot the mono 3 times for it to work again. Now that I'm thinking of it, I tried a sysex dump once and it failed. Didn't really need to dump so I haven't tried again. Plus I tried to download the new o.s. at the same time and it failed - locked the mono. All this occurred with the same computer hookup so I just blamed the PC (damn wintel boxes!). Hearing these recent stories, I'm convinced some of the monos have issues with their midi outs - seems like some electrical crosstalk after what it did to the macbeth. --- In elektron-users@yahoogroups.com, allen949@a... wrote: > Thank-you for all the effort you have put forth on my behalf.
