hello, your correct in your assumption about the resonance.  it is 
knob tweakable in the filter menu, but otherwise it can't be assigned 
to the control knobs.  if you can figure out the Sys-Ex
implementation 
for the sidstation, it and every other parameter is availble that 
way(i can't say i've got this working just yet though).  

   i've set up a console for the sidstation in my sequencer, but it's 
only using the  cc's that are availible.  i do believe there are 
environments for logic that are the equivilent to a motu console. that 
is if you own logic.  good luck
