I don't think you'll be slapped unless you had more than one unit. Then it would be obvious that you'd be importing for resale. I doubt you'd get any trouble. I bought a ms2000 in Japan and brought it to Korea. Korea has very tough duties and controls. The guy asked me if I wanted to declare it. I said no, he said have a nice day. I guess I just lost out on the only in Japan warranty. Take it with you.
