Re: [elektron] MM SFX-6 case solution?

2004-01-15 by john parker

a few weeks back my joystick fell off, and i never replaced it. i actually
get better control by just using my finger. it's like a mini kaoss pad. i
don't recommend this but the joystick attaches to a little nipple just above
the rubber pad at it's base. the joystick came off when i gently spun it.
again i'm not sure everyone's will come off that easily so i don't recommend
it unless it was bugging you as much as it was me.

i'm curious which case you found that works. i have to take the mm on the
road in a week or so.

Subject: [elektron] MM SFX-6 case solution?

I was wondering if anyone on this list has come up with a good hard case
solution for the MM SFX-6? I've found prebuilt cases that fit the
dimensions of the MM but the problem has been the joystick. Makes the MM
too tall, and I can easily see the joystick breaking in transport. One
option I thought of was find a way to easily remove the joystick during
transport and and then easily reattach when setting up, but not sure the
best solution for that.

Has anyone come up with a good solution for transporting the MM? Even a
case that could house both the MM and MD at once would be cool too.
