what is the function of numerology ?(i have not heard of it before)
 
sounds like a wicked setup. personally i dont like the sound of the electribe synths , i had a er-1 and i didnt like the sound from it much, which was very distinctive and hard to get away from. 
 
i plan to trigger REX filed loops from a sampler with the MD , which will be cool to manipulate live.


I will be buying the Korg Electribe SX-1 when it comes out and the Korg Kaoss Pad 2 
to also use with my new MD(Yeah!!) and a DSI Evolver.

The SX -1 has two pitched sample parts which would be perfect for what you 
described and the valves on the output stage really do help make a meaty sound.

I will also be using Ableton Live, and Numerology 1.2 (when it comes out) on a 
TiBook. These two programs were also designed to be played live.

All this will be going into a Rane empath DJ mixer. Abosultely phenomenal mixer 
with a really felxible effects loop, great faders, small footpint,, and uato gain 
compensation which automatically levels the input gain.
