When Elektron first sold the SidStation they didn't have a 115Vac adapter for the USA so you had to buy your own here.  I have a Radio-Shack adapter on mine that is rated at 800mA, twice the current rating of the factory unit.  It works fine.  I wouldn't worry about power adapters; just use one with a filtered output.  They're all made in China so units don't vary too much.  One with at least a 400mA rating is recommended.
