Elektron Musical Instruments

Hello everybody -

I am researching a bunch of boxes to put together a live PA rig.  My music
runs the gamut as far as styles go.  The most important thing is that I am
able to improvise on the gear.  

I have looked at just about everything, but keep getting drawn back to
Machinedrum.  Grooveboxes are cool and all, but there's something about
give my money to a big company like Roland or Yamaha that rubs me the wrong
way.

I'd like to keep my kit as compact as possible, so it's easy to set up and
tear down.  Anyway, if anyone would like to share their experiences with
the MD in a live setting, that would be great.  I'm especially interested
in people who gig with just the MD or perhaps the MD plus one other box and
a mixer.  For example, the MD, a Future-Retro 777, a mixer, and maybe a
Kaoss pad would make for a kill Acid setup.
