Whatever's at the end of the ~20-30 cables that I have lying around gathering dust from disuse... There are only four RCA cables in use at my house: Two from turntables to a mixer (no choice there, I'm afraid), one from mixer to sound board, and finally... one from my VCR to my TV :) > I respect your experience, but if RCA connectors were truly as poor > as you have described, it never would have become an audio > interconnect standard. It's an "audio interconnect standard," sure. But it's not a "PRO audio interconnect standard." It's a standard for consumer audio only. And very low-end "pro" audio such as DJ equipment. Anyway, there's another reason I don't use RCA cables -- None of my equipment has RCA jacks. What pro equipment do you have that actually has an RCA jack, other than the HardSID people were talking about?
