I use the machinedrum with a q80. It will sync fine to the kawai, but I always use the machinedrum as the master clock. Get a midi merge and then you can use the machinedrum as the master and also have a keyboard input into the q80. I find this works the best. The machinedrum sequencer is great for sequencing bass lines, bleeps and other monophonic parts. Not so useful for chordy bits. > Hi all- > I am getting ready to purchase a Machine Drum and I have a couple of > questions: > > Does anyone use this machine with a Kawai Q-80 sequencer?
