Imo, yes.
They are easier to turn, and when you have sweaty hands (like I do), 
then it it more fun to program.

The knobs' feel is OK, but the knobs are too close to eachother. The 
rule of thumb: you have to be able to at least one finger between the 
knobs. In the MD, that's impossible. They're just a bit too close 
unfortunately.
