Now that I've got a midi-sequncer that I like (Machinedrum actually)
I've started using the SID lots more! I just don't want to sit in
front of a computer when making music.

The sound of the SID is to me very much trance, and electropop. Not
being that much into trance, the electropop part is what I love from
it! That chip is so evil when it comes to the strange and distorted
frequencis that creeps out of it! If you still think it is too soft,
add distortion. It roars.
