my experience as been that the MM will clip when using all 6 parts routed to stereo
outputs as if there's just too much for it to sum. as if it just can't crunch the numbers or
something.. but when routed to individual outs i can push the volume as high as i need.
It really depends on the sound though. sometimes basses are harder to deal with.
