I got a replacement machine from the shop i bought the
MD ..
There i found ways to reproduce the phenomen..but
opposite to the machine i sended in i was able to cure
things on the replacement machine...

its hard to say if there is a hardware relation...or..
if there could be problems while installing the OS
1.33...

I suggest to try the following procedre...

dump all your materials..check if the dumps are
correct...

Than do an empty reset...

Create a new kit...
make a track with trx bassdrum..
copy the track on all tracks
mute all tracks

start the MD and listen to each track by unmuting it
one at a time..

Are they all sounding the same?

If not reinstall Os 1.33..
Do an empty reset and perform the all tracks test
again...

Do they sound all the same?


However..when the all sound the same you have the
machine in a clean state to start..but the problem
will appear again when you reload the old kits...

But... at least on the replacement machine...

this time changing a machine of a faulty track will
crash the when you safe the kit..but after doing a
cold reset the kit is restored and works fine... 

On the MD i sended in even 3 empty resets and
reinstalls havent cleared anything..but maybe i would
have needed to do it 4 times?
I ve no idea yet how often this can go wrong or if its
related to the turbo midi interface or whatever..

I only can say ..the new machine behaves better..i can
control the phenomen..But even the new machine failed
the all tracks test after i upgraded to os 1.33... so
i did it again..and than it worked fine..

On the old machine I did the same withoiut cure...but
when you dont work under controled lab conditions...i
might just be better in train now in performing the
resets...there was also an TM-1 update in between that
could have made a difference..

Electron asked me to send the MD in..the are not aware
of the bug...
At l\ufffdeast not yet

Thanx to the new empty MD I also found why the
corruption happens in the first place...
Its related to midi machines...
tracks that was at any earlier stage of the kit a
midimachine will fail...

But as it seems now to me that on some MD\ufffds you get a
crash while changing them and than its good...
While on others the phenomen stays ...

My theory
There is a midimachine bug..but how your MD reacts on
this is
either hardware related, or OS1.33 installation
related...
Which in itself again can be TM-1 related...
complex issue..

Best way to find quick solutions is if others do some
reinstalls aswell and watch it..

The 16 tracks soundengine test direct after
instalation is at least good to see if your machine is
corruption free from the start...
Or to see if you catched corruption allready...
The midimachine virus 8-)

The MD i had to send in was even doing phantom midi
output of controler data...
this havent happened on the replacement machien
either...
But... i havent done as much with it yet...

We need to collect more information.
