Elektron Musical Instruments

Hello all -

I am not an elektron user as of yet, but i know some (i bet they are here on this list too). 

I have a c=64 that i have used to make music since my dad bought it in the 80s. It has been 
harassing me lately about converting to a sid station. I remember a few years ago reading 
that you could send in your existing sid chip and have a station built with it. I couldn't find 
any reference to that on the site now. I have emailed elektron and i'm still waiting to here 
back. Anybody know anything about this?
