Well I can't find an original MD in stock anywhere (not even 
Elektron).  So I'm tempted my the UW now.  $1600 at NovaMusik (hot 
damn)!  Anyone seen it cheaper?

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
