Re: [elektron] Anyone use a MachineDrum to make complete tracks?

2005-05-29 by chrism@lumin.us

definitely... when i first got my MD i made a bunch of minimal loops that
when muted/unmuted and a few pattern changes added in would be great
"complete songs" in the minimal/dance/drummy sense. Actually, if I had to
choose between the two I'd keep the MD because the instruments are very
flexible. You can make a lot of melodic / bass elements out of the drums.

since we just moved the only gear i have with me now is my MD next to my
bed with headphones. It's a very entertaining box on its own.

Kind of makes me want to trade my sfx6 for a 60.
