does many of you use the monomachine inputs to treat the incoming
sound? have you ever experienced this:

i have a kit and pattern where i use a effects machine to somehow
treat and filter the input a/b. but sometimes when there's no input
(not necessarily even the plugs connected to the input) to the track
it produces a ringmodulator-type noise. and it goes off by re-starting
the machine.

never had this until now when i made kits with input a/b used...
