This may be an old idea but forgive me for not keeping up with the Elektron stuff as much while living overseas. I agree, this would be very cool. This would, of course, also work very well as a concept to apply to MnM contest. Doing an MnM contest monthly on an individual basis would be nice, but would be different than the MD contest because "regular" instrument use is that much more readily available. I think the multiple person use of the MnM in a contest is intriguing, especially if the early tracks are not allowed to be changed. You could set a number that had to be in a team, and how may total tracks that each person could do. example such as team of 3, 1 track each.. team of 3, 2 tracks each. team of 4, 1 track each... etc. Don't want to overload the Yahoo site, though, since space is so limited, but who would be interested in either individual or team MnM only contests? And finally the mother of all Elektron contests (that would be the source of some other nice promotional material for the company, as is the current contest in my opinion) - the Elektron freestyle contests. MD+MnM class (current production) and True Freestyle (MD, MnM, +SID optional in any combination). This is the kind of thing that, if not only for webspace and organizational ease, would be better served by a privately run public bbs or content management system as was heavily argued earlier on the list.
