Probably most of you here know me from the synthesizers.com group.. ..my 4th tier is set to arrive tomorrow. 2 Q44 cabinets and now 2 Q22's close to 100 modules and not all of em are dotcom! ;) But anyway.. Don't count on using the RS30 - it's a piece of junk! the effective range is .5Hz to 500Hz. Not very useful for woodwinds, might be ok for bass or something. The scaling is all wrong and it's S L O W! Your cute flute glissando runs will sound like munged slide-whistle! The answer is the LM2917 chip, with some octave picking circuits. See the posts over on Roger's group for some more musings on this and the Wooglebug - boy am I glad Morbius turned me on to this group! Cheers! -Erik
