Disklavier

Some of us are avid Disklavier software (MIDI file) collectors … others are voracious.

I am somewhere in between and consider my tastes "eclectic".

As a former professional rock musician who switched to high tech years ago, I've enjoyed owning three different DKs … most recently upgrading my Mark III DC6A to a DKC-850 controller.

Thanks to others in this Yahoo group, I've finally managed to "manage" my 300+ Yamaha / Roland / Korg / Pianodisc / Tune1000 CDs and floppies.

And my heart skipped a beat or two ... it seems circa 2007 that Yamaha had plans for a multitude of additional Smart Pianosoft (a.k.a. Pianosoft Sync in certain markets) ... start at page 75 of this PDF brochure and you will be surprised!

Over the past 10-15 years, I've purchased a slew of these as they came on the market and have enjoyed them tremendously.  Like the Pianosoft Solo series, some are now out of print.  Or for various copyright/royalty reasons they are no longer available even for download off the Yamaha Musicsoft web site anymore.
