Did you get this question answered? I converted a song I wrote from MIDI to MP3 online using a free "Midi to MP3" trial software program. Are there programs that also automatically spit out sheet music and interpret what you've written into notes? If so I'd like to know what software there is online (that is safe) to do this. I do not have a MAC- I have Windows 7. ________________________________ From: daa boss <daaboss@...> To: disklavier@yahoogroups.com Sent: Saturday, October 15, 2011 5:59 PM Subject: [disklavier] Program needed to edit and write sheet music I have written my own song with lyrics. I am not a very good pianist. I am trying to get the recorded song from my DCIII DC3A Disklavier to a computer program so I can edit my mistakes, print sheet music and then copyright the song. I have a Yamaha UX16 MIDI to USB adapter so I can connect to my laptop. I have moderate computer skills. I just do not know what program I should use to edit the MIDI file. I was looking at a program called 'ANVIL Studio' but in order for me to use the features I require it will cost me $99.00. I don't mind paying that price but I just don't know if Anvil Studios is the correct program for me. I need something that is 'user friendly' that can edit the mistakes I make while recording my song. Then the program has to allow me to write the sheet music, etc. Any advise or suggestions would be very welcome. Craig
