Curious why the DKC-850 which has now been upgraded to the 3.1 firmware does not work? I thought it basically had the same features as the E3.

Another curiosity is that following the 3.1 upgrade, the DKC-850 still does not support all of the Pro features of the Mark IIXG Pro and the Mark III Pro. This means that in many important respects, the DKC-850 is actually a downgrade for Disklavier Pro owners.
