I'd like to discuss the options for purchasing music from Yamaha. 
Currently, the only option is to purchase the music (say after 
hearing it on Yamaha Radio) by for example downloading it over the 
internet to you piano.

In the mp3 world, there are two major options available depending on 
user preference. The first is as above, you hear something, you buy 
it, you download it and store it on your local device.

The other option is a subscription service (much like the Yamaha 
radio) where you pay a fixed monthly fee and in return get access to 
unlimited 'on-demand' music from the entire remote library. (An 
alternative is a pay per listen option). This can either be streamed 
live (or buffered for the purposes of immediate playback only so it 
can't be copied). To clarify, in this instance, the listener chooses 
the specific piece of music they want to hear (as opposed to 
Disklavier Radio which is pre-selected for you based on genre.)

Which one you opt for is usually down to individual preference, and 
people's attitude to ownership and choice. For me, I prefer choice 
over ownership - it is not important that I own the music, but that 
I listen to what I want when I want.
