Yes. I've been using it for a number of
years. It's a very popular program. I have a Yamaha PSR 540 and this
is connected by midi to my laptop with OMB. This extends the functionality
of the PSR. My styles are all on my hard drive and I don't have to
keep loading them in on the PSR's floppy. I get to choose either the
PSR's accompaniment or the one provided by OMB. The output from OMB goes
back to my PSR to use the Yamaha XG voices.

So, this weekend I decided to finally build a computer to attach to my MkIV expressly to try to find software which would do the same thing.
The computer is working fine, and so is the MIDI functionality. ..now I just have to figure out what software will actually do this for me! ; I played with band-in-a-box a bit...but it does not seem to allow for this sort of thing in real time...it wants you to first enter all of the chords. Is there other software which can do this? Am I asking too much?
If it matters, I built the computer running windows 98se.
