For what it's worth Holly, I understand your dilemma - but I feel that you are making the right choice.
One of those items is replaceable, the other is not.

It\u2019s a very hard thing, as I love all the things about the GranTouch that the Steinway does not have \u2014 but then again, if we\u2019re talking about simply \u201cplaying the piano\u201d, the Steinway is the clear winner, hands down, even without the sentimental ties that are attached.
Maybe I\u2019ll end up getting a smaller GranTouch someday so I can play my midi files. ;-)
