Re: [disklavier] YAMAHA DISKLAVIER MX100B

Frank,
1) The Manual must be ordered from Yamaha in California. They are free.
2) Check the Yahoo web site for shareware downloads. I seem to remember a copy of a program which allows backup.
3) I use a product from the Web site called GNMIDI to convert midi files to Piano Disc format ($30) and then convert the files to ESEQ using the MID2ESEQ program, and format this diskettes using EEXPLORE which lets you create an index and title both the disk and the files. ; The process is a bit laborious but the results are worth it. The only really manual process is to create the diskette labels, since there is no way to get a text file out of the EEXPLORE program - If anyone knows how, please let me know.
4) I can't help you.
5) Age of the piano, check the serial number of the piano and look under support at www.yamaha.com. There is a section which will give you the age of the piano.
Good luck.
