Does anyone in the Group know enough about the Enspire to answer these questions for me, please? I enquired thru Yamaha Support last month but have had no response. I just bought an Enspire DC5XENPRO. I edit standard and XP midis for optimal playback. I am operating it mainly from my Computer via USB out to midi IN & OUT , I am experienced in all facets of Pianodisc operation, but Disklavier is new to me. I do have Yamaha CDs for Mark IV but as the Enspire has no CD drawer, I'd like to know how to play them. I've tried unsuccessfully via the iPad controller and the USB Memory Stick. The manuals provided on-line do not seem to address how to set up certain features which are touted by Yamaha as special features: 1) Where and how do I turn on silent play? 2) I have extracted .wav files from Yamaha discs in attempt to play them. I can find no advice as to how to achieve this. My previous piano used an audio cable from the headphone socket of my computer to RCA plugs on the CPU. I've tried doing this to the Enspire OMNI-IN with appropriate switching on via the iPad controls. Audio accompaniment comes thru the speakers, but the fax-tone signal intended to drive the solenoids is not doing so, and instead is audible in the speakers. 3) I intend to make .wav recordings of the playing midis thru the silent system, as I am assured by Yamaha advertising that the sound fonts used are quite excellent. How do I to make such .wav files? I'm guessing that OMNI-OUT back to my computer microphone via audio cable may be a possibility, but none of this is covered by the operating manuals. 4) Yamaha MusicCast is said to be able to connect to the piano. I have the necessary Yamaha equipment (Preamp WXC-50) How do I connect the piano to it wirelessly? 5) I read in the instructions that while the dongle is in place, it is not possible for the piano to access on-line services. If I were to attempt to connect to Yamaha's on-lineTV or streamed radio, how do I control the piano if the controller is not functioning because the dongle is removed? Thank you in anticipation of some answers. Ian Williamson
